Miss too many in a row, and the Mouse gets angry -- there's a little rage meter that fills up, and when it's full, you fail the song. It's not complicated, but the timing window is stricter than you'd expect, especially later on.

The early levels have cute names like "Whisker Waltz" and "Paws and Effect." They're slow, with mostly single notes and simple patterns. But around the third song, "Feline Frenzy," the game introduces double notes -- you have to press two keys at once, which feels weird at first because the buttons are spaced out. Then "Nine Lives Nightmare" throws in hold notes, where you keep the key pressed while the note travels down the lane. That changes everything because you can't just tap and forget -- your hand has to stay in position while other notes come at you. The satisfying moment is when you chain a long combo through a dense section and Cringe does this stupid little spin in the air.
