You'll see swinging hammers that knock you into slime pits, rotating platforms that dump you into bottomless gaps, and these frustratingly timed conveyor belts that mess with your run speed.

Your hands are on arrow keys or WASD for movement, space to jump, and shift to dive. Diving is key because it lets you lunge forward mid-air, which can save you from missing a platform or help you push past someone at the finish line. The satisfying moment is when you nail a perfect dive sequence through a series of spinning obstacles and land right on the goal. Or when you're in a tense final round with just ten players left and everyone's tripping over each other on narrow beams.

The dive button is your best friend and your worst enemy. I've lost count of how many times I overshot a platform because I panic-dove at the last second. Wait until you're directly over the edge, then dive--it gives you that tiny extra reach without sending you into the abyss. Early on, I kept grabbing ledges by accident. Turns out you can actually climb up if you press jump while hanging, which saved me from falling off several times. The swinging hammers in world three? Don't try to time a perfect jump through them. Just hug the wall on the opposite side and let the hammer push you past--it's way more reliable than trying to dodge mid-air. I wasted hours on the slippery ice levels before realizing that sliding actually gives you more control if you hold the opposite direction while sliding. You won't stop instantly, but you'll stop less stupidly. Crowns are rare, so don't waste them on the first funny-looking hat you see. Save up for costumes that actually change your hitbox, like the penguin suit--it's narrower and helps you squeeze through gaps. Also, the game hides shortcuts behind breakable walls that look like normal scenery. Smack everything that looks slightly off; I found a secret path that skipped an entire gauntlet of spinning bars.
