Spending cash on the first upgrade is tempting, but that incremental payout button is where the real growth hides. I wasted a ton early on adding balls before raising the per-bounce payout -- more balls with low payout just means more tiny numbers. Get that payout up first, then add balls. The passive income upgrade is a trap early game. It scales so slowly that your active bouncing will always outpace it until you've got a decent arena unlocked. I ignored it for the first three levels and didn't miss it. When you unlock a new arena shape, the reset feels brutal -- your cash drops to zero. But the multiplier from that next level makes the early grind fly by compared to the first run. Just tap like crazy for the first minute to get a few balls spawned, then let the auto spawner take over. That free speed boost from tapping the screen is way more useful during those first few seconds after a reset than at any other time. I used to save it for later, which was dumb. Also, ball skins from the shop are purely cosmetic -- they don't affect earnings at all, so don't waste ad watches on them unless you're bored. The hexagon arena is the worst for keeping balls alive because the corners eat them up; square and circle are way more forgiving if you're trying to stack cash fast.
