Robberies 3D
How to Play
Game Overview
So I played Robberies 3D, and it's exactly what it sounds like -- you rob places. Banks, vaults, jewelry stores, that kind of thing. You start off in some generic-looking city level, grab a gun off a guard if you're fast enough, and then it's all about finding keys and cracking locks. The visual style is pretty basic, like an older mobile game -- blocky buildings and flat textures -- but it runs smooth and the vibe is pure chaotic fun. There's no deep planning or stealth mechanics despite what the description says; you mostly run around shooting cops and frantically looking for the right door. The controls are simple: WASD to move, mouse to aim and shoot, F to interact with everything from picking up ammo to opening vaults. Once you've got the loot, you find a phone, call for an escape vehicle, and hop in a car or helicopter. That part feels tense because cops keep spawning everywhere. It's not a polished masterpiece or anything -- there's jank, like getting stuck on geometry or the AI being dumb -- but the loop is addictive. You'd like this if you're into mindless action games or co-op heist stuff without needing a big budget. It's the kind of game you play for 20 minutes, fail a few times, laugh at the chaos, then try again. The shooting is satisfying enough, and grabbing all the cash before the timer runs out gives a real rush. Not for anyone wanting a deep story or realistic graphics, though.
About Robberies 3D
So you're a robber, and you start each job in a dingy hideout with three slots for weapons and a phone that lists available heists. The early levels are a joke -- Bank 1 lets you waltz in, grab a keycard from a desk, unlock the vault door, stuff a bag with cash, and run to the getaway car before the guards even react. But by the time you hit Jewelry Store 3, alarms are everywhere, guards patrol in pairs, and you'll need to find a blowtorch in a side room just to crack the reinforced display cases. The loop stays simple: enter the map, figure out where the vault keys are hidden (sometimes in lockers, sometimes on a dead guard), open the lock with a quick F-press mini-game where you match a rotating marker to a sweet spot, then scoop up the loot. But getting out is where it gets messy. You need to reach a phone -- usually tucked in a back office or a supply closet -- and pick an escape option: a car that spawns in the alley, a helicopter on the roof, or a boat at the docks if the map has water. Each escape triggers a countdown, and now cops swarm in from all sides. That's when you feel the heat. The AI cops are dumb but numerous -- they'll funnel through doors and take cover behind pillars, and their pistols chip away at your health fast if you stand still. Your brain is scanning for ammo boxes on shelves and medkits in bathrooms while your fingers swap between your rifle (key 2) for mid-range and the shotgun (key 3) for close quarters. The satisfying moment? Cracking a high-level vault like the Diamond Vault map where the lock has three tumblers and you're sweating bullets because a SWAT team just bashed through the front door. You grab the last gem, sprint up three flights of stairs, and leap into the chopper as it lifts off -- the screen flashes "Heist Complete!" and you see your cash total jump. Upgrades between jobs let you buy a silencer for the pistol or extra armor, but they cost a lot, so you replay easier heists to grind. There's a weird bug where sometimes the phone just doesn't work and you have to restart the level, which is annoying. The game never explains that you can press Space to climb over certain low walls or boxes -- I figured that out by accident. Later levels add security cameras that trigger a lockdown if you're spotted, forcing you to find and shoot the control box on a wall before the vault locks permanently. It's not deep, but the loop of sneaking, shooting, and escaping keeps me coming back.
Tips & Tricks
First thing: don't waste time grabbing every loose item you see. The keycards are what matter, and they're usually in offices or on guards -- check desks and bodies fast. I spent an entire run collecting cash only to realize I couldn't open the vault without a specific key. The F key is your best friend for lockpicking, but the timing is trickier than it looks. If you mash it, the lock resets, so wait for the indicator to line up before pressing. For weapons, the shotgun is great indoors but useless at range -- stick with the rifle if you're planning to fight cops from a window. Also, climbing stairs with Space can save you from corners where guards swarm, but don't jump near alarms or you'll trigger them early. The phone escape is a trap sometimes: picking a car getaway is faster but leaves you exposed on the streets, while the helicopter takes longer to call but gives you a clean exit from the roof. One mistake I kept making was ignoring the corner cameras -- they call reinforcements silently. Shoot them out with a silenced pistol if you have one. Finally, when you're carrying the loot bag, your movement slows down a lot, so clear the area before grabbing it or you'll get pinned. Plan your route to the phone before you even start the heist.
