Game Overview
Stick Box is this weird little action game where you control a floppy blue stick figure with your mouse. The ragdoll physics are completely over-the-top -- your guy just flops around like he has no bones, which makes everything feel slapstick and chaotic. You drag his body to move, drag his arms to swing, and basically just fling yourself at red stickman enemies until they die. The visual style is super minimal, just plain stick figures on flat backgrounds, but the physics make it hilarious. Levels start simple with a few guys to punch, then throw in bats and knives and even guns, which your stick man picks up by touching them. There are boss fights too, which are just bigger stick figures that take more hits. The vibe is pure nonsense -- it's not trying to be realistic or serious at all. It feels like those old flash games you'd play in school, but polished enough to work on mobile. Who would get hooked? Anyone who likes physics toys, people who enjoy games that are more about messing around than skill, or anyone who finds ragdoll animations funny. It's not deep -- you just pull and hit and win. But the slow-motion effect on every hit makes even simple fights feel dramatic. Some levels are frustrating because the controls are floaty, but that's part of the charm.

So you drag this blue blob around. That's the whole thing, really -- you click on any part of its body and pull to move it around levels that are basically flat platforms with walls and edges. The ragdoll flops everywhere, which is half the fun. You'll immediately notice how stupidly flexible it is -- arms stretch out like rubber bands, legs go everywhere. It looks ridiculous and that's the point.
Your first few levels are against a couple red stickmen who just stand there. You drag your doll's arm into them to punch, or you pick up a weapon by touching it -- a baseball bat shows up early, and you'll feel unstoppable clubbing those red guys. But then world 2 hits and they start coming with guns. Suddenly you can't just flail around; you have to grab the pistol yourself or figure out how to use the environment. There's a level called "Warehouse Shuffle" where three guys with shotguns spawn behind crates, and you have to drag your doll behind cover, wait for them to reload, then rush out swinging. That moment when you time it right and knock all three down in one swing? Satisfying.
Weapons aren't just thrown at you -- some levels hide smg's under destructible blocks or behind spike traps. The spike traps show up around level 12 and they'll one-shot your ragdoll if you drag it into them. You learn to be careful. Bosses start appearing around level 20 -- the first one is "Big Red" who has twice the health and a giant hammer. You can't just punch him; you need to pick up the hammer yourself or use the environment's explosive barrels. Barrels are scattered in some levels and they detonate after a few seconds -- dragging a barrel into a group of enemies feels great.
Difficulty ramps weirdly. Early levels teach you dragging and punching. By world 5 you're managing multiple enemies with different weapon types while avoiding pits. There's no upgrade system -- you just get better at dragging faster. The game's loop is simple: enter level, see enemies, figure out the weapon placement, drag your doll around, win. If your doll falls off the edge or gets shot too much, you restart. No checkpoints. That can get annoying on level 34 "The Gauntlet" where you have to survive three waves with limited weapons 💥.
The ragdoll physics make everything unpredictable. Sometimes you'll drag an arm and the whole body flips over a wall, which is useless. Other times that same flop accidentally knocks an enemy off a ledge. You learn to work with the jank. The slow motion effect kicks in during big hits, which looks cool but also gives you a second to plan your next drag. By the final worlds you're pulling off combos -- drag to pick up knife, throw knife, then rush in for a bat swing while the first guy is still ragdolling from the knife hit. Chaotic and dumb and genuinely fun.
Tips & Tricks
Pulling your character's arm too far will just make them flop uselessly -- you need short, quick tugs to move efficiently. The physics engine loves to send your blue guy flying into spikes if you're not careful with momentum. I died a lot on early levels because I kept dragging him like a stretchy toy instead of a real body.
Weapons on the ground are tempting, but grabbing the first thing you see is a mistake. A knife might seem worse than a bat, but its swing speed lets you hit enemies before they recover from their own attacks. Boxing gloves are actually the most reliable starter weapon because the punch has a clean hitbox.
Enemy groups will swarm you fast if you just stand there. Keep dragging your ragdoll in circles around them -- the chaos makes their attacks miss more often than you'd think. Bosses are different: they telegraph their moves with a telltale pause, so wait for that moment to strike instead of spamming attacks.
Gravity is your friend on some levels. If you're getting overwhelmed, drag your character upward toward ledges or platforms. The red stickmen are dumb about climbing and will cluster below, making them easy targets for thrown weapons 🔍.
That random object that looks like a trash can lid? It's actually a good shield. Hold it in front of your character's body to block projectiles. I ignored it for ten levels before realizing how useful it was.
Don't bother trying to aim thrown weapons precisely -- just fling them in the general direction of enemies. The ragdoll physics will do the rest, often bouncing things off walls for surprise kills.
