Find The Pets
How to Play
Game Overview
Find The Pets is basically Roblox''s take on a scavenger hunt, but with a lot of platforming thrown in. You spawn into these big, colorful maps -- eight biomes total, each with its own theme like a candy land or a spooky forest -- and then you just run around looking for animals. The pets range from obvious meme faces like Floppa to random whacky creatures, and there''s 150 of them to track down. Visually it''s bright and cartoony, the kind of look that feels like a playground. The controls are simple: move with WASD, jump with space, and spin the camera with your mouse. What surprised me is how much Obby-style gameplay is in there -- you''ll jump across platforms, balance on beams, and find hidden nooks to reach some pets. It''s not hardcore platforming, but some routes are genuinely tricky. The music is pleasant background noise, doesn''t matter if you mute it. You can get temporary boosts by watching ads -- super jump, fast run, or a radar that highlights nearby pets -- which feels a bit pushy but helps when you''re stuck. There''s no story, no cutscenes, just you and the hunt. The achievement system is basic: find a new pet, get a pop-up. Who''d get hooked? Kids who like collecting things, completionists who want to see every pet, and players who enjoy chill exploration without pressure. It''s not groundbreaking, but it''s honest fun if you''re into wandering around finding stuff.
About Find The Pets
So you're dropped into a hub world, and from there you pick one of 8 biomes to explore -- places like the Mushroom Forest, Candyland, or the Haunted Mansion. Each map is a big open playground full of platforms, ramps, and hidden nooks. Your job is simple: find all the pets hiding around. There's 150 of them total, and they're not just sitting in plain sight. Some are tucked behind a wall you'd never think to check. Others are perched on a high ledge that requires some serious jumping. A few are even buried in the ground, with only a tiny tail sticking out as a hint. You run around with WASD, jump with space, and use the mouse to look around. That's it for controls -- pretty straightforward. But the real game is in the searching. Early on, you'll stumble across pets easily, like the meme cat Floppa just chilling on a tree stump. But after you collect maybe 20 or 30, the game starts being meaner. Pets get hidden behind obstacle courses -- these little parkour sections called "Obby" routes. You'll need to time your jumps across moving platforms, dodge spinning logs, and squeeze through tight gaps. The difficulty ramps up noticeably in later biomes like the Lava Caverns, where one wrong step sends you back to the start of the route. That's where the power-ups come in. You can watch a short ad to grab a speed boost, a super jump, or a radar that shows nearby pets on your mini-map. The radar is honestly a lifesaver once you're hunting for the last few in a zone. The satisfying moments happen when you finally spot a pet you've been hunting for 20 minutes -- maybe it's behind a waterfall or inside a hollow tree trunk. The game gives you a little jingle and adds it to your collection menu. There's also achievements tied to finding certain numbers of pets, like reaching 50 or 100. The pets themselves have goofy sounds pulled straight from Roblox, which adds to the charm. Music is nice but optional. Later biomes introduce environmental hazards like poison gas or falling icicles that force you to move carefully. It's not punishing, but it keeps you on your toes. The loop is simple: pick a map, run around, climb stuff, find pets, repeat. No story, no plot -- just you and a mission to catch 'em all. The last biome is called the Space Station, and it has zero gravity sections that mess with your jumps completely.
Tips & Tricks
Starting out, don't just run around randomly -- the radar boost is a lifesaver in the bigger biomes like the desert or snow world. It highlights nearby pets on your screen for 30 seconds, so pop it when you hit a dead end. I wasted a ton of time in the forest map because I kept missing pets tucked behind trees and rocks. The super jump boost can get you to high ledges that look decorative but actually hide a Floppa or two. One mistake I made was ignoring the obby sections -- those tricky platform routes often lead to pets you can't find anywhere else. Another thing: the map (M key) shows which pets you've found in each biome, so check it if you're stuck at, say, 12 out of 18 in the lava zone. The fast run boost is great for covering ground, but it makes you miss small pets hidden in corners -- use it in open areas only. Also, pets sometimes spawn in the same spots after you collect them, so revisit areas you've already cleared. The achievement system rewards you for finding new pets, but the real trick is using the boost menu (Q, E, F keys) -- each one costs a short ad, but the radar is worth it every time. Finally, don't skip the sound -- the pet noises clue you in when one is nearby, especially the meme ones like the cat that meows oddly. It's not game-breaking without audio, but it helps a lot.
