You click or tap to jump, and that's it for direct control -- the rest is all about positioning and hoping the physics don't screw you over too badly. Each level is a chaotic playground filled with traps like crushers, rotating hammers, and those electric panels that make your stickman twitch uncontrollably before exploding. The game tracks your damage in real time, with numbers popping off every time you hit something, and that's what earns you coins. Coins unlock new levels, which get progressively more insane -- early ones like "The Pit" are just a few hazards, but later ones like "The Factory" are death mazes with conveyor belts and timed crushers that require actual planning.
What's weird is how you upgrade. There's a shop where you can pump your stickman's arms, legs, and torso, which changes how he moves and bounces -- thicker limbs mean more mass, so you plow through obstacles harder, but also flop around slower. You can also buy vehicles, and that's where the game gets really stupid fun. A shopping cart, a rocket, a unicycle -- each one handles like garbage in its own way, and you'll spend half your time just trying to stay attached to the thing. The rocket especially is hilarious because it just blasts you forward uncontrollably into everything.
The satisfying moment comes when you line up a perfect jump through a chain of traps -- like hitting a spiked pendulum, then a sawblade, then a floor of crushers -- and watch the damage counter tick up past a thousand. It never feels fair, but that's the point. There's also a leaderboard, but honestly I never cared because watching my stickman get flung into a wall at mach speed is reward enough. Difficulty builds mostly through adding more moving hazards and tighter timing windows -- you'll die a lot, but respawns are instant so it never gets frustrating. The grind for coins is real though, and some levels feel like they demand specific upgrades before they're even doable. I wish the shop explained what each upgrade actually does better, because pumping your left arm to level 5 might be useless for all I know.
Tips & Tricks
Early on, don't bother saving for the flashiest vehicle -- the basic bike is actually the best bang for your buck when you're just starting out. It launches you higher and hits traps at better angles than anything else in the low price range. I wasted three runs trying to unlock the monster truck, which just flops over on half the ramps.
When you're pumping limbs, focus on legs first. Arms help with flailing distance but legs determine how fast you build speed before that big jump. Maxing legs early makes a noticeable difference in how many bone breaks you rack up per attempt.
That spinning saw blade in world two? Jump into it sideways, not head-on. Your stickman's ragdoll will catch on the teeth and spin longer, multiplying the damage ticks. Head-first just bounces you straight off.
There's a hidden multiplier if your stickman cartwheels through three or more traps without touching the ground. I stumbled onto this by accident -- you get a loud crunch sound and double points for five seconds. Try chaining the spike pit into the swinging log for an easy trigger 💥.
Don't upgrade your limb health unless you're crashing into walls repeatedly. The game rewards breaking bones, so keeping your stickman fragile actually helps you score higher. Durable limbs just mean fewer points per run.
The leaderboard resets every Sunday night. If you're close to a high score, cash out your money before then -- unspent cash doesn't carry over, which caught me off guard my first week.
